It seems likely? that a V-four 1000cc four stroke sports bike for the road may be released by Honda as a 2014 model.

It certainly looks the business and the price will reflect that, I was a bit disappointed that they dropped the idea of a V5, some friends in the states were cueing up to get a deposit down.

I just wish the rc213v had come out 25 years ago.

Anyone ordered one yet ?? if only I was 20 years younger not to mention the money, I said don't mention the money !!! jeez no need to rub it in, I wonder if the wife would notice a bank loan.

Oh well I shall have to make do with thoroughly enjoying myself on my old NSR !

Cheers, D.

Hello Tuckerbag, no sign of that new Honda yet.

I had my NSR in for its MOT test recently, do you have an annual test by an appointed garage to check if the vehicle is roadworthy conforming to government regulations ?

The man doing the test told me Yamaha are working on a replacement for the R1 sports bike and he reckons it will have 200 BHP, that if true should be interesting.

Some of the touring brigade in the past when a new blade or something comes out say where can you do that sort of speed, I usually say where would you like it done Ha Ha Ha, the prob here is bloody cameras and very stiff fines now, they are advocating a fine for speeding on the dual carriageway/motorway of between £4,000 and £10,000 there is also the risk of a ban or even a stretch inside, its getting bloody silly and car drivers seem to be getting very jumpy and more are sticking to the limits , there are so many 50,40,and 30 limits it is difficult to get anywhere in a reasonable time.

Unless your on an NSR !! and use the "B" class roads, yeehaa

Cheers Daniel,
